Um... would anyone be interested if I posted an excerpt of my original story? I could really use some contacts for feedback. I just don't want to publish it all over the internet, is all. It's not fanfiction, you see.

You should upload some of it onto fictionpress (it's pretty much the same as fanfiction.net only with original stories instead of fanfics)

Hmm..you're writing a novel? Sorry, this is news to me but I'd be interested in reading an excerpt and getting back to you on it if you'd like! I was a beta for a friend of mine so I might be able to help out with anything. :)
I agree with lanna-lovely about the fictionpress site (another site that I stalk), but there have been many writers who post their stories up there, get helpful reviews, take their stories down, and get published. Yep! That is the four-step plan.
But, if you prefer more privacy, I would love to read an excerpt, and tell you what I think. So, let that be useful motivation.
