Am I the only who is ECSTATIC about there finally being a CAST of some description up?! If ya'll are as obsessed with the Twilight series as I am, (although, I do admittedly love Mediator more, but Twilight's the current passion. Just haven't gotten into the fanfiction side of it yet, lol,) then you'll be hanging on every single word whispered from the powerful lips of the casting directors.
Let me just say: Alice Cullen has been perfectly cast.
I knew we weren't going to get some ridiculously great casting like Rachel Leigh Cook who is, (FACE IT PEOPLE!) way too old.
But this girl, Ashley Greene, is sensational! She's stunning. :)

Nikki Reed for Rosalie is of course, horrible. She only got the part because she's buds with the director (who both worked on Thirteen together.) She looks NOTHING like Rosalie, who is supposed to be this heavenly vision of blondness. For a start, Nikki is brunette. Secondly, Nikki is WAY too tough. Thirdly, Nikki's BRUNETTE.
Yes, I know. Hairdye. But still! Why go to that effort when there are plenty of much better, much BLONDER options already out there who don't need to resort to a bleaching to fit the part?
Oh well.
Aside from looking a little too friendly, Victoria's pretty good. And so is James, ignoring the disgusting fact that he was *gasp* in the O.C. Which is, you know, almost unforgivable. I will decide whether to kill him after the movie comes out.
Eric and Jess are brilliantly cast, and Mike isn't quite as puppy looking as I expected, but he'll do - I'm not really bothered either way. I'm just stoked with Alice. As long as she gets the hair right, I'm happy. Esme's face looks a bit weird, but hopefully that'll sort itself out on screen. Her features are all scrunched in the middle...Carlisle and Jasper both also need some MAJOR peroxide! WHY ARE THEY NOT BLONDE?
Why am I so obsessed with hair today?
*sigh*
Eh. Basically, Rosalie aside, I'm extremely happy with casting and have VERY high hopes for this eagerly awaited movie.
