Oh, my life... Wouldn't want to blink. Might miss something.
Perish the thought!
Well, obviously I haven't updated my very awesome blog since I haven't done much of anything special in the last few days. I have, however, just had my first week at uni, so I thought that was worth a mention.
At this stage I know two things.
1. I am going to love Thursdays and Fridays, and
2. I'm going to have Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The first two days of the week are my two core units - aka, NO one wants to be there, but Uni dictates that we must. The courses are even more boring than they sound: "Contexts of Modernity" and "Representation and Interpretation." Basically just talking abou technology and society and historical context and blah blah blah...and we've got the same guy for both. He's all right, but seriously - to make something like this interesting requires real talent. REAL talent.
The latter days of the weak are my actual units - that is to say, Language and Writing and Visual Praxis - aka, writing and art. They're going to be awesome, I can see it now! So yeah. My week will forever be 50% perfect...
Maddy's party is tonight! Hopefully she'll enjoy our pressie that we - Haydogs and I - got her, the one that ADAM INTRUDED ON WHEN HE REALISED HE HADN'T GOTTEN HER ANYTHING. Pfft. Silly little twin midget.
Also, I got a new idea for a fanfiction one-shot! Well, it's going to be an unofficial entry into the March Writing Challenge I'm running, but still, it's gotten me all eager and what not. Now I just gotta wait for Aina to get her toosh online so I can pump her for plot help - I mean...chat with her. *blush* But yeah. Basically my What If? is going to be, "What if Paul Slater fell in love with a ghost?"
It'll be way more interesting than it sounds, I promise.
What else is happening in the Wonderful World of Lolly? Hmm. Made some new friends. Shout out to...them. *pretends to remember their names* Well, not really... I remember every one. But... *doesn't want to be presumptuous in thinking they enjoyed the university conversations as well*
Me? Lame? Undoubtedly.
And yay for the Poll getting right into gear! Poor Jacob is still floundering at "4 Votes," rofl. Poor little doggie...
Seriously, though. When trying to decide between a Vamp, a Corpse, a Dog and a Dick, which DO you choose?
I'll put up another post after I've made the prizes for the February Competition...
But lastly, onto the important things in life...
TWILIGHT CASTING...
Am I the only one who doesn't exactly hate this person, Taylor Lautner, for Jacob?
By MystAngel
I mean...I think he serves the purpose well enough, especially for Twilight where he's still kind of young. (And fifteen, if I remember correctly.) Apparently he's possibly going to be our Jacob. He's attached, but his role is unknown at the moment. But yeah, I've seen people go nuts over it, in a bad way. Hahaha, my favourite was Aina.
"I'd take Pattison any day over that."
Which, considering that she doesn't really like Robert that much, made me laugh for ages. Especially her use of the word "that," lol. Made poor Taylor sound inhuman...lol.
But yeah. Everyone loves Steven Strait, and, um, Taylor REALLY looks like him. So I don't know what they're complaining about.
Meh. My ONLY problem with this possible casting is that I'm not sure if he's even slightly Native American, which does present a bit of an issue. But he might be - not knowing any Native Americans, I wouldn't know.

NO HE DOESN'T!
*horrified*
Fine, I will stop going on about it to make you happy.
Since you're such a Taylor Lover aka Being Neutral.
Pfft.
I have to throw my 2 cents in... he kinda does. Look like Steven, anyway.
I'm totally happy with him... as long as he bulks it up for New Moon, if it happens.
*nods*
yeah i agree with sarah. at first when i saw him i was like wow nice way to get a ten year old to play jacob. but then i remembered he only starts to look mature in new moon. so i have no problem with taylor playing jacob:) in fact he looks quite perfect for him in twilight! younger... to say the least. and yes he does look like steven strait!! i would be MEZMORIZED if steven played jacob for the second movie!!! he may be a bit too beautiful to play jacob though, but gosh he really is gorgeous:)
His mom is Native American actually.
